Public profile changes require admin approval. Your current profile will remain visible until your changes are approved.

• Display name: Use your first name, a familiar nickname or a shortened version of your name that is easy for learners to read and pronounce. It should be recognisable as a person’s name. Gamer tags, fantasy names, titles, and rude or inappropriate names are not permitted.

• Profile photo: Use a clear, recent photograph of yourself with your face visible. Wear appropriate clothing and use a professional pose and background. Cartoons, avatars, unrelated images and photographs of other people are not accepted.

• Introduction / bio: Use clear, correct English and keep it brief, friendly and professional. Introduce your teaching experience, approach and interests. Avoid slang, profanity and inappropriate content.

• Introduction video: Keep it friendly, professional and easy to understand, with clear sound and suitable clothing and surroundings. Make sure your video link works and allows students to watch it.

Keep all information accurate. Do not include personal contact details, social media links or invitations to arrange lessons or payments outside MyEnglish. Avoid sharing private information about students or other people.
